ABOUT TOYMU
TOYMU, a Tripura word meaning ‘never ending’, TOYMU, is a local voluntary development organization in Chittagong Hill Tracts. It established in 1994 by some social-minded students in response to the issues of extreme poverty, low literacy rate, social and political conflict, eroding cultural identity, and high incidence of human rights violations among the indigenous peoples in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh.
Officially it was registered as a non-government voluntary development organization in the Social Service Department of Bangladesh in 1996 and in the NGO Affairs Bureau in 1998. Learn More...
